14 July, 18:00 UTC Cogent recovered all devices at the temperatures on site have started to decrease. HVAC system started to work again. All upstreams are operational again, we are running optimal routing again.
14 July, 17:35 UTC Monitoring - According to Cogent there is a major power outage in Unterföhring area, where MTI POP is located. The site is running on generators, but the HVAC system seems to be connected to the utility power. MTI is working to cool the site. Cogent is starting to recover their devices slowly as temps are dropping. All traffic is routed using other carriers and we are monitoring the uplinks for possible rerouting.
14 July, 16:50 UTC Identified - Our upstream operator Cogent has an outage in Munich due to a HVAC issue at the MTI facility. We have rerouted traffic using other carriers and are awaiting resolution from Cogent.
